Siiqo Launches Business Management Suite for African SMEs

Nigerian startup Siiqo has launched a commerce and business management suite for African SMEs and freelancers, offering them a smarter way to sell, get paid, and grow their brands online.
Co-founded by Okerere Innocent Chinweokwu and Linda Kolapa Ogochukwu, Siiqo positions itself as a one-stop platform where small business owners and independent professionals can build online storefronts, create portfolios, and discovered by a wider audience. The Siiqo business management suite also enables users to receive payments in both fiat and cryptocurrency, while managing their day-to-day business operations from a single dashboard.
“Siiqo provides visibility and trust,” Chinweokwu told Disrupt Africa. “Most importantly we are allowing users to build real identity with ease.” That focus on identity and trust speaks directly to one of the biggest challenges facing African freelancers and small businesses credibility in a competitive digital marketplace.
A Bootstrapped Startup Already Gaining Traction
Despite being at the MVP stage and fully bootstrapped, Siiqo has already attracted 50 early users. The team says it is currently refining the product ahead of a broader public rollout.
On the revenue side, the platform plans to earn through transaction fees and subscription plans. When users complete transactions through their Siiqo storefront, the platform charges a fee covering escrow and mediation services.
With African SMEs continuing to face barriers around payments, visibility, and operations management, the Siiqo business management suite arrives at a critical moment. It is one of several emerging Nigerian tech solutions aiming to reshape how small businesses operate and compete across the continent.
