A Tweaklify Chrome extension, now in its second version, lets developers visually edit websites inside Chrome without writing CSS. Additionally, the free tool transforms Chrome DevTools into a point-and-click interface for editing layouts, typography, colors, spacing, and styles live.
Maker Haider Mansoor said he built the extension from frustration with switching between DevTools, design software, and code editors repeatedly.
Therefore, he aimed to create a smoother visual workflow for editing websites directly inside the browser without interruptions.
Beyond visual controls, Tweaklify includes live HTML editing, AI-powered section generation, live previews, and export support for multiple frameworks.
Meanwhile, it converts edits into React, Vue, Angular, and Shopify Liquid code for broader frontend development compatibility.
The AI layer accepts plain-language instructions typed directly into the browser for faster and simpler website editing workflows.
For example, Mansoor said users can request modern redesigns or Shopify Liquid conversions and instantly preview generated page changes live.
However, Mansoor described the experience as “magical,” which reflects his opinion rather than an independent assessment.
He identified frontend developers, UI/UX designers, Shopify developers, and agency teams as the extension’s primary target audience.
Ultimately, the Tweaklify Chrome extension live website editing workflow reduces the gap between browser inspection and real-time design iteration.
The extension is free and available now on the Chrome Web Store. Its second Product Hunt launch is live here.
