Logitech just made its MX Creative Console far more useful for office workers. The company released a major Logi Options+ update, expanding the MX ecosystem beyond creative-focused workflows.
The update introduces productivity plugins for the MX Creative Console and the wider MX ecosystem through the Actions Ring. The Microsoft Office plugin adds controls for Excel navigation, Word styling, and PowerPoint slide management.
The Logitech MX Creative Console productivity plugins extend beyond Microsoft Office applications. A Notion plugin organises ideas using LCD controls and digital overlay menus. Meanwhile, the Slack plugin enables huddles, workspace switching, and thread management with a single tap.
The update also fixes a long-standing multi-device switching problem for MX users. Previously, users manually reconnected MX peripherals when switching between computers. The Enhanced Easy Switch system now syncs MX mice and Dialpads with compatible keyboards automatically. One key press can now move up to three devices simultaneously.
The release focuses entirely on software improvements instead of introducing new hardware. Existing MX users gain these features through a simple Logi Options+ software update. As a result, users do not need new hardware to access the upgraded functionality.
Logitech’s Head of MX Business and Marketing, Maxim Bondar, framed it clearly: “Our goal is to enhance the workflows of advanced users, while making the technology behind it invisible.”
