Prague to Host FinTech Roadmap 2026, Bringing Global Fintech Firms and Top Industry Debate Together

Prague is gearing up to host one of Central Europe’s most anticipated financial technology gatherings. The fifth edition of FinTech Roadmap 2026 Prague is set for May 14, 2026, at the Czech National Bank Congress Centre, bringing together fintech companies, regulators, legal experts, and investors under one roof for a full day of panels, keynote presentations, and hands-on workshops.

The conference, organised by the Czech WealthTech Association, has grown impressively in recent years, averaging 51% year-on-year growth in budget and 36.4% in attendance over the past three years. This year’s edition carries even more weight, held under the auspices of Jan Procházka, a Member of the Bank Board of the Czech National Bank, signalling strong institutional backing.

The international character of FinTech Roadmap 2026 Prague is hard to miss. Among the confirmed participants are global names including Banking Circle, DECTA, Kontomatik, Bird & Bird, and LexisNexis Risk Solutions. Part of the programme will run in English, and Czech-language sessions will be available with real-time AI-generated English subtitles, a nod to just how tech-forward this event truly is.

Local industry heavyweights are also in the mix. Czech fintech and technology firms including IDEMIA, MoroSystems, Roger, and Portu are backing the event, alongside new speakers from Anycoin, Etnetera, AKCENTA, and the Central Securities Depository Prague.

Artificial intelligence is expected to dominate much of the conversation. Radek Teichmann, CTO of MoroSystems, captured the urgency well: financial institutions are still relying on outdated systems even as AI rewrites entire sectors, and those who delay transformation will be left behind. The message is clear: the window to act is now measured in months, not years.

FinTech Roadmap 2026 Prague is also part of the broader FinTech Week CEE, which includes ETH Prague and The Fintechers UnBundled conferences happening in the same city during the same period. For international attendees, it is a rare chance to tap into the heartbeat of Central European fintech without hopping between cities.

“Each year we expand both the programme and international participation. Our goal is to create a platform connecting fintech companies, investors and industry professionals,” said Ondřej Mikulčík of the Czech WealthTech Association.

Whether you are tracking EU regulatory shifts, exploring cross-border expansion, or watching where fintech capital flows next in Central Europe, this is one conference worth watching closely.
